Classical Homeopathy is a medical science which was developped over 200 years ago. It is practised on all five continents, in most countries, and taught in certain faculties of medecine. It has acquired the reputation of being one of the most potent and safest therapeutic methods available for preventing and curing acute and chronic diseases. Homeopathy restores the balance of the sick organism by taking into account all the aspects of the sick person ( physical, emotional, mental symptoms). This balance is what brings a pleasant and harmonious life. I devote my time to the practise of Classical Homeopathy, which concentrates on a much deaper research of the causes and the manifestations of the sick person to find the most potent cuartive remedy. Homeopathic treatments do not require to stop your existing medications and is usually very compatible with them. It also is a very effective way to counteract side-effects of common pharmaceutical medications, and of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The consultation The first interview has the main purpose of finding the remedy most similar to your condition. This condition is a complex and very personnal one. It comprises physical ailments and pains for which you seek cure, but also more vague symptoms that you only experience from time to time, discomforts which never left after a previous sickness, operation or accident. It also comprises things pertaining to your sleep, your body temperature, to your food cravings, distaste and intolerances, to your biorythm, and also to anxieties, fears, phobias, depressive bouts, intellectual difficulties or mental impairments, and also family medical history. In short and long everything that makes you a special human being. In Classical Homeopathy you are the one who knows all about yourself and I will be there to listen and guide you. It also follows that the care and truthfulness of your answers are essential to the treatment. If certain informations are withheld voluntarily, overlooked as unimportant, missing pieces to the puzzle may hinder my efforts to find the right remedy for your case. This firts visit lasts 2 to 4 hours depending on the case. Then I compile all these informations, build a computerised summary of the case and determine the most useful remedy and its posology. The remedies are usually free of charge. After the visit Once you have taken the remedy, you will start feeling it’s action quite rapidly. Your symptoms will usually subside gradually and a feeling of well being will also usually be felt. But this often only happens after a slight aggravation of your existing symptoms, as your organism reorganizes and eliminates, it is a healing process. This aggravation is usually of short duration and is not threatening. I will be there to assist you if you have a hard time dealing with this discomfort and guide you as to the best way to handle it. It is important for you to write down what all you experience which is outstanding between visits. If you experience an acute condition between visits, you should call immediately for an emergency appointment to treat this condition homeopathically and then revert back to the initial treatment. The remedies They appear as sugar pellets on which the remedy is impregnated. If you cannot take sugar, it is also available in liquid form. They are taken in the mouth and left to dissolve. Certain substances have a tendancy to inhibit the action of the remedy and you must refrain from taking them. They are compatible with most medications except those containig camphor, strong mint, eucalyptus ans strong aromatic material. They do not stand well high temperatures ( above 70C or 170 farenheit), but age remarkably well ( many years). Follow-ups After a few weeks you will come back to my office to evaluate your progress. This consultation is of a shorter duration (30 to 60 minutes). We will evaluate how you have been influenced by the action of the remedy on all aspects of your being. I will determine if the posology needs to be maintained or changed and if the first remedy needs to be continued or if a new one is required. A remedy is not always needed if the restorative action of the first is still going on. I will supply the needed remedies free of charge usually. If you are affected in the meantime by an acute condition you must call for an emergency appointment to treat this condition homeopathically, then revert to the initial treatment. Duration of treatments. For recurring or chronic ailments one visit is very rarely sufficient, although encouraging results are usually achieved rapidly. For long existing chonic conditions, one year and more (8 visits and more) will be required. For more recent and superficial sicknesses, a few month are usually sufficient.
